IELTS Test

Posted by -NAZ-

Hey!!!!
Last Saturday I just had my IELTS test which is like an english proficiency test
that is compulsory to be taken if you plan to study overseas.
So as usual I started preparing for the test a bit late although I was totally aware
that I have to take the exam like 3 weeks before.
But what do you expect as the test was during my holidays!
Time flies sooooo damn fast.
So basically the test consist of 4 parts that is
Listening, Reading, Writing, and Speaking.
The Listening part was not that bad I guess, same goes for the Writing part as well.
But I really don't like the reading part as the passage was not as easy as I thought.
Especially when it is talking about transportation all around the world
with all the statistics and figures, really gave me a headache.
I completed the first 3 parts in the morning.
Then I had my speaking test in the evening somewhere in KL.
I was quite scared at first actually as it was like an interview
with all of the random questions being asked.
There was also an impromptu session during the speaking test.
But thank God it wasn't that hard as the questions were quite easy and way general.
And also the lady that interviewed me was so friendly.
So I just talked as much as I can and just hope for the best.
I will know my results 13 days after the exam so it will be on 10th of July
I guess that's all for now. BYE!

The Sims 3

Posted by -NAZ-

Hola!!!

I finally bought The Sims 3 game like last week I guess just a few days after buying my new laptop. This game was released in this month if I'm not mistaken and honestly I have always love playing this game. Some people may like to play action games or like strategy games but I feel that I am more inclined to play this game. Seriously I've been playing this game since the first one came out that is The Sims. But then I didn't manage to play The Sims 2 at all as my home computer can't compensate with the games requirements.

So now I have been playing this game for about a week and it is really awesome as there is way more stuff that you can do and mainly you can customize every single thing from the objects in your home and also your clothing. The best part is that now you can go around the neighbourhood, visit from house to house not like the previous 2 games. And also the create a sim tool now is way better than before and you might also create a sim that looks just like you!

There is quite a lot of other new stuff in this game and it is so appropriate for those who are interested in enhancing their creativity. So yeah I totally recommend trying this game out for those who are interested as by playing this game you can actually create the life that you really wanted or even the life that you can never have. You can check out the website of this game to find out more about it and watch the videos to actually see what this game is all about.

I bought the original version of the game so its quite expensive actually but who cares right. Real gamers play original!! XD

Whoever that has the same interest in this game just like me, do leave a comment. I just want to see who else find this game interesting.
Ok done. BYE!!!

New Laptop

Posted by -NAZ-

Hello everyone!!!
In this post I just want to say that I have my very own laptop!!!! XD
I don't really need a laptop just yet actually as I am still leaving in my house currently
but because my home computer broke down
my father decided to just buy a laptop for me as it will be much easier
since I am the only one that uses the computer in the house anyway.
So my father bought me a ASUS laptop which is still quite new that is th N50V series
I'm quite happy with this laptop as it is way better compared to my home computer
The graphic card is obviously better so now I can enjoy playing the latest games
without worrying whether my computer can manage to compensate
with the requirements of the game.
So that is all that I have to say right now and enjoy the photos below =)

Hey you guys!!!
I have just finished reading this book and it was a great book indeed.
This book is perfect for those who love mystery novels.
So I want to share it with you guys about the synopsis of the story.
Here goes the synopsis:
A perfect family vacation turns into a life-or-death nightmare.

SET SAIL
Only an hour out of port, the Dunne family's summer getaway to paradise is already turning into the trip from hell. Carrie, the eldest, has thrown herself off the side of the boat in a bid for attention. Sixteen-year-old Mark is getting high belowdecks. And Ernie, their ten-year-old brother, is nearly catatonic. It's shaping up to be the worst vacation ever.

SOAK UP THE SUN
Katherine Dunne had hoped this trip would bring back the togetherness they'd lost when her husband died four years earlier. Maybe if her new husband, a high-powered Manhattan attorney, had been able to postpone his trial and join them it would all have been okay....

PREPARE TO DIE
Suddenly, a disaster hits–and it's perfect. Faced with real danger, the Dunnes rediscover the meaning of family and pull together in a way they haven't in a long time. But this catastrophe is just a tiny taste of the danger that lurks ahead: someone wants to make sure that the Dunne family never makes it out of paradise alive.
With whiplash plot twists, speedboat pacing, and an eye for the evil that can lie behind even the most gorgeous setting, James Patterson delivers Sail.

The Curve

Posted by -NAZ-

Last Tuesday, a day right after I came back from Penang, I went out with my friends to The Curve.
There was six of us including me.
Actually since next week one of my friend, Juliana was going to leave HELP Uni. College and enter Kolej Mara Banting,
We thought what better way to go out together and maybe see her for the very last time (which I doubt it would be =D)

When we all finally reached there and gathered at The Street, it was around noon,
so we quickly find a place to eat as we planned to catch a movie around 1 o'clock.
We end up agreeing to have our lunch at the Sakae Sushi.

At the restaurant it had those moving platform with all the different sushi
so I picked some and end up eating like 4 small plates of sushi including a glass of green tea.
Guess how much that cost me, RM 22+, ya a bit on the expensive side
but what the heck! once in a while spending on good quality food =P

Later on after finishing our lunch, we head on to the Cineleisure and bought our tickets
to watch the movie 17 AGAIN, not really my choice of a movie to watch.
Then again, the movie was damn funny to be frank.
Not really expecting that but I laughed mostly throughout the movie.
It was also a bit awkward. haha.

So as suspected the movie ended around 3pm and Juliana had to go already as she had other plans that is her school friends are making a farewell party for her.
Then Laura and Sue May also left, leaving me Yi Chong and Valentine.
It was only 3 o'clock and I definitely don't want to go back just yet
Not that I have any better things to do at home anyway.
Clueless on what to do next, Valentine quickly suggested to watch another movie.
So we just agreed to that and bought tickets to watch FIGHTING
The movie was ok but I was about to doze off in the cinema actually during the movie.
Too tired I guess to even handle 2 movies in a row
or the movie was just plain and boring.

When the movie was over we all went back, the other 2 went back by their parents
and sadly I had to go back on my own.
I took the free shuttle bus from IKANO and went to the Kelana Jaya LRT station
from there I took the LRT to Asia Jaya and then took a bus to a stop near my house.
I reached home around 7.50pm, quite late and damn tired for sure.

Trip to Penang!

Posted by -NAZ-

Last Sunday my family and I went to Penang, but it's not much of a holiday trip actually.
Mainly because we went to Penang just to attend my cousin's wedding.
The wedding was held at the Seberang Perai not at the Penang island itself.

So yeah after meeting with all of the family members from my mother's side and watching the wedding ceremony commence, we did not went back to KL straight away.
Instead we booked a hotel at the Penang island that is The Gurney Hotel
to spend one night at Penang.

Here are some pictures that I managed to take from the hotel room. lol =P

-The scenery is just breathtaking-

Owh ya since it was only my parents and me staying in the hotel,
my father had to book a room with 2 bedrooms.
So I had one room with a king size bed all to myself!!!!=D
It was soooooooo comfortable.

So that night itself we went out for dinner with my father's friend
at somewhere near the beach and the wind was so strong that night.
We ate like halal chinese food.

The following day we went for breakfast at this mamak stall near the hotel
which we always went to eat our breakfast whenever we stayed in Penang.
Right after that we checked out from the hotel and went back to KL.

Went out to sunway...

Actually I was thinking of updating this on my blog like on that day itself, but when I reached home the computer suddenly can't open. So I had to wait until now to update about it. So lets just move on to the topic shall we.

Last Saturday my friends and I planned to go out together to Sunway Pyramid to catch a movie. But sadly only four of us could make it which includes me, Yi Chong, Valentine, and Mun Yee. The others got problems on finding a transport to go to Sunway since its quite far for some of them. Since I am not that familiar with Sunway Pyramid, it took some time to find the others at the arcade which I have no idea where it is. But thanks to the guide I finally managed to find it right beside the TGV cinema after passing the lift that goes up to the cinema several times XD.

So when I reached the arcade it was no surprise to find Mun Yee and Yi Chong playing the DDR
which you need to dance by stepping on the arrows thingy. lol =P. So I end up watching them jumping about in the presence of other strangers just to wait for Mr. Valentine to come. So when Valentine came we all decided to go somewhere as the movies that they bought earlier was not until like an hour later. Oh by the way we bought tickets to see the movie Terminator Salvation.

After walking for sometime we all decided to go somewhere to eat since we haven't eaten anything just yet for lunch. We ended up eating at the Laksa Shack. I ordered my usual favourite which would be the Laksa Johor which is simply delicious. And we went on and on talking just to past the time until the movie starts. Mostly the other 3 talked about Maple which is an online game which I had no idea what it was. So I was mostly clueless during their conversation.

When the time came we went back up to the cinema which was really jam packed with a lot of people. After buying some popcorn and drinks we went in and settled at our designated seats. Comparing GSC with TGV I would definitely say GSC is way better. I am not really sure why but I guess it is more comfortable at the GSC compared to the TGV. The seats have no head rest at all which is really stupid since we're watching a 2 hour length movie and it won't hurt to have a headrest at the seats. Especially for someone like me which is quite tall and no matter how low I sat on the seat I won't be able to rest my head on it. And another thing is that the place where my friends and I sat stinks man!!! I don't know if its because of something spilled nearby that place or just the fact that one guy sitting in front of us was like crossing his feet up whilst not wearing any shoes.

Sadly that is not just the down side of what happened during the movie, surprisingly a lot of kids were in the cinema as well watching Terminator Salvation. A bit surprised though because I thought at least for this movie it has a PG 13 rating. But I don't think the people in charge gives a damn about it. Sitting beside me was a little girl who can't stop talking and kept on moving about in her seat which I think does not bother me much. But the worst is when the movie reached its climax a girl sitting behind me was crying. And in addition to that she kept on kicking at my chair. Seriously at that time I felt like standing up and st**ng**ng that girl. Thank god I didn't, I just gave a disgusted glance at her. Haha damn mean.

All in all the movie was great and really did live up to my expectations. Full with action pack scenes. I would really recommend you guys go watch it and do watch it at GSC for more comfort and less disturbance during the movie =P. Then later on the others went back together leaving me behind as my ride haven't reached yet. So I decided to go to the MPH to find a good book to read during my 1 month holidays instead of just being online all the time.
I bought this book titled SAIL written by JAMES PATTERSON and HOWARD ROUGHAN. It is a thriller novel. Might be buying his other novels if this one turns out to be interesting =D. Ok thats about it.

-Sorry no pictures, too lazy to even bother to snap any pictures =P-
